My Purpose in Fitness

The internet is filled with scams, misinformation, and deceiving methods. The industry is filled with hype and no substance

Allow me to share a piece of wisdom with you.

Fuck motivation, it’s garbage. Forget about diet for a second. When was the last time motivation really worked for you? I personally convinced myself many times in a job I didn't like that I could motivate myself to do a better job. I almost always reverted within the week. Why are we so convinced that motivation is what we need to make this change? It doesn't. We need something else.

Drive is the internal flame that never dies. Drive begins as you get good at something, you start feeling good about yourself, you enjoy every day of your not-so-restrictive diet. Hence why I always say that you should find an activity that you simply enjoy. For me, it was once the barbell started getting stacked. I'm deadlifting three plates? Me, who at some point in time could barely carry the bar by itself? Forget about it, you can't stop me from going to the gym with a bullet. I will do everything to keep this amazing feeling. It's not even hard because I now love it.
